Her therapeutic approach is collaborative and active, providing structured guidance rather than passive observation. Dr. V approaches therapy with the framework that:
-
each individual is unique,
-
there are factors outside of a person's awareness (unconscious thoughts, feelings and experiences) which influence thoughts and actions,
-
the past shapes the present
-
human beings are always engaged in the process of development throughout their lives.

Committed to staying at the forefront of research and therapeutic advancements, Dr. V regularly attends workshops, conferences, and continued education to ensure that clients and mentees receive the most effective care. With a culturally informed and faith-informed perspective, Dr. V honors the diverse backgrounds and experiences of each client.

At the core of Dr. V's practice is the belief that healing happens in connection with others—whether in relationships, family systems, or therapeutic spaces. The mission is to empower individuals, couples, and families to overcome obstacles, strengthen connections, and rediscover joy and fulfillment in their lives.
